Compact crossover SUVs have always had trouble emulating their larger, more performance-based predecessors. The Jeep® Compass first hit the streets in 2007, but a lot was missing from that first rendition. It didn’t have the performance elements you look for in an SUV, compact or otherwise. With the release of the 2017 Jeep Compass, we have a compact crossover SUV that checks all the boxes. It has the look and feel of a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, but all in a more compact, sporty shell.
The 2017 Jeep Compass is equipped with a 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder engine that’s capable of producing 180 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque, which vastly outperforms previous models. With three available transmission options and the option of going with either 4×2 or 4×4 renditions, this compact SUV can be taken to new heights in terms of performance and off-road capabilities. Another new addition to the Jeep Compass family is the available Trailhawk trim, which features the Selec-Terrain® system that has made all of their SUVs incomparable when it comes to off-road performance.
The interior features a standard 5-inch LCD screen, while 7 and 8.4-inch screens are available as upgrades. All-in-all, in the 2017 Jeep Compass you are getting what you’d expect from any other SUV in their catalog, only in a more compact model. It’s exciting, while expected, that the brand has found its footing in creating the perfect compact crossover SUV, and here at Posner Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM we are proud to offer the all-new Jeep Compass to customers in and around Davenport, FL. Feel free to contact us with any questions you have about this or any of our other models. We look forward to seeing you soon.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has garnered a lot of press recently, and for good reason. It’s an exciting time for the Chrysler brand, as this newest rendition of the Chrysler Pacifica is truly ahead of the game. It’s the first vehicle in its class to get a rating of 10 in the EPA’s Green Vehicle list, it’s the first hybrid minivan in the United States, and it’s the first 50-state plug-in vehicle that Chrysler has under its belt. That’s a lot of firsts, and the list will continually grow as the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid breaks ground on other details that have yet to be done in its class.
This step forward can be seen as a huge shift in the continual push forward with electrified vehicles. Other vehicles in its class, as well as other larger vehicles, like pickup trucks, may start to follow suit in creating hybrid vehicles. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has the ability to go up to 33 miles on electricity alone, which is ideal for everyday activities, and the total range with electric and gasoline is an astonishing 570 miles. Chrysler has yet again put its brand at the forefront of innovation, something that has always been the impetus behind their creativity. As soon as this minivan hits the market, we’ll have it for you. Until then, feel free to ask us any questions about this or any other model in our inventory. Our collection of Chrysler vehicles ranges from the Chrysler Pacifica to the Chrysler 200, and everything in between, so stop by today to see everything we have in stock.
While the Dodge Challenger is indeed synonymous with power and performance, the best has yet to come. The 2017 Dodge Challenger GT is expanding its range in functionality with the release of an all-wheel-drive version of the car. Muscle cars are not typically thought of in the same vein as trucks, SUVs, and other top-tier all-weather vehicles, but that is about to change. The all-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT is the first of its kind, reaching heights that no other American muscle coupe has. Read the rest of this entry
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid takes the already impressive fuel economy of the non-hybrid model to the next level. The non-hybrid Chrysler Pacifica gets great fuel economy, at 28 mpg highway, so it’s already as efficient a minivan as you can find on the market. Yet Chrysler continues to push the limits of what a minivan can be, with the release of the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The only hybrid vehicle in its class, this family van has received an official rating of 84 MPGe. Read the rest of this entry
