While the Ram 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab starts things off with an impressive towing capability of 7,730 pounds the standard engine for the Chevrolet Silverado LT is only capable of towing up to 6,800 pounds. Maximum towing capability for the Silverado LT tops out at 11,600 pounds with the 5.3-liter V8 DFM engine. The available diesel engine for the Silverado LT makes 277 horsepower, 460 lb-ft of torque, and can tow up to 9,300 pounds.

The Chevrolet Silverado LT comes with an 8-inch touchscreen that pairs with Bluetooth and a six-speaker sound system. The infotainment system is clunkier than that of the Ram Big Horn models and isn’t as easy to use on the fly. The LT model also comes with body-colored door handles, alloy wheels, heated mirrors, and cruise control.
